Basden Steel has provided fabrication and erection services to the construction industry since its inception in 1985. The Basden Steel Group is approaching $1 billion dollars’ worth of completed projects, including three Project of the Year awards from our national trade associations. This work has included schools, casinos, military facilities, hospitals, labs, special events centers and data centers. 

To add to our 35+ years of successful projects we had another monumental event. On January 1, 2020 Basden Steel began to create a new legacy by turning its 450+ employees into owners with a 100% value sale via an ESOP transaction. This exciting Employee Stock Ownership Plan will usher in a new chapter for Basden Steel and one that will see the efforts of our employees turn into actual ownership within the company. We see this as a pivotal moment and is the next step to help ensure the continued success of the company for the next 30 years and beyond. From the beginning, the Basden Family always knew the success of the business was built with the hard work and loyal efforts of its employees. With the ESOP plan, those efforts will be rewarded with ownership in the company our employees helped create.

Despite the changes and challenges over the years, one thing has always remained constant: Basden Steel’s unwavering commitment to its employees. This type of culture starts at the top, even as the business has grown larger and more complex—growing into three fabrication locations. We strive to maintain a family-run business feel that prioritizes the safety and well-being of its workers.
